We hear it's pretty heavy to hold.
The screen is 1024 x 768
We hear it's pretty fast.
You can't open multiple windows at once so that kinda stinks
There is no camera in it.
We hear the e-book component is pretty awesome though
It doesn't have flash so you can't really watch movies.

Has anyone tried it for themselves? We're so excited to try one out ourselves!

What is Four Square and Why is Everyone So Obsessed? A Tutorial If You Will.

I learned about Four Square about a year ago at a Techie conference I attended. A colleague of mine was asked to speak and when we got there we realized they had definitely asked the wrong girls. I did, however, learn about Four Square, a phenomenon which seems to be skyrocketing! What the Eff is Four Square you ask? Well, I'll tell you!

It's a strange phenomenon this social media. Especially for someone who is a lawyer by day. Basically it's an app for your phone and you use it to "check in" with your friends. You can check-in anywhere and it helps your friends know (stalk) where you are and find out about places that you like to frequent and things you like to do--bars, restaurants, cafes, etc.

It's a way to share your fave things with your friends. Like, your favorite sushi spot--you can comment to your mates, Tuna roll rocks here. Or stay away from the Eel? Get it? So as you "check in" to more places you will be able to then unlock tips that others leave--like the best thing they found on the menu.

And Four Square keeps it interesting by giving you points for things you check into. For example--go to a new restaurant in your neighborhood? 5 Points. Getting your friends to come with you? 1 more point. And it's the honor system :)

But the more you do you get different badges (nothing but an icon for you to treasure) You can also become the Mayor of certain things...we've heard...
